About the MARA register
A MARN is a Migration Agent Registration Number — the seven-digit number the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) assigns to each registered agent. Every registered agent has one; anyone giving migration advice in Australia must.
Registration means the agent met OMARA’s entry requirements, holds professional indemnity insurance, and is bound by the Migration Agents Code of Conduct. It records standing on the register — it does not rate or recommend anyone.
